Missing ATIS on ATC menu?

Postby derrickm » Tue Jul 13, 2004 6:56 am

Whenever I access the ATC menu there is no option for ATIS, no matter the airport or whether I'm flying a VFR of IFR flightplan.  Are there a setting I have change to display this on the ATC menu or has it something do to with the weather settings and selecting a specific weather theme?  ATIS has always been available in FS2002?

You have done something to cause this although I do not know what. You may have to unistall & reinstall FS2004. Maybe someone else has an idea. I know that atc is an option but I do not know how you managed to get rid of the atis option and still keep the atc. :-/

Before your flight, you can get the ATIS frequency for the airports your are both departing and flying to.  This can be done by going to the map and clicking on the corresponding airports.  Then you can enter the ATIS frequency into the COM radio and get the relevant airport information.
