Landing IFR

When setting a flight plan with IFR it is great until you get about 20 or so miles away from the airport than they hand you off to land at the designated runway, now I am having trouble landing birg birds, i set the speed to the correct approach speed and set flats to the correct dergree, but i was wondering if there was anyway that the ATC could talk you in to the landing, like giving minor course changes up untill touch down? cheers!!!!!

No, I'm talking a Word document here on the site... but it's so easy to read... it'll take you... three minutes at the most.  It's under the Tutorial section of the site.  It's very easy!

I tried  lot of time with various planes to use the autopilot locked on the ILS frequency,by clicking on Approach or APR switch on the autopilot gauge. Of course, the autopilot must be turned on and the correct ILS frequency entered !
In any case this is not very safe for your passengers as with big airplanes this system is very slow or do some over correction of the landing trajectory. The best is to try to follow the ILS signal "by hand". I play with Flight Simulator since 1990 and never could bring back to ground a plane with the autopilot.

In MS flight simulator, the autopilot cannot land the plane by itself.

Yes,ILS lessons appears in Flight Lessons even twice-firstas general info about ILS approache,second as more detailed lesson with practice flight on big jet-look for it more carefully!
