I'd like to be able to put in coordinates for waypoints so I can navigate to sites w/ the GPS. I can't seem to be able to get it right though. How about some help for a noob. Thanks guys, this site is great.

Just follow the existing format; i.e.,
waypoint.0=, HECA, , HECA, A, N30* 7.74', E31* 23.80', +000381.99,
waypoint.1=HE, BLT, , BLT, V, N31* 31.73', E31* 7.35', +000000.00,
waypoint.2=HE, MILAD, , MILAD, I, N32* 2.02', E31* 4.10', +000000.00, A16
As you know FS2k2 and FS9 *.PLNs are the same (at least the FS2k2 work in FS9)
Numbering of waypoints must be sequential
That's it . . .
Bill
P.S. I usually add extra waypoints in f/p and then edit them; it's easier than re-numbering several

Okay, I gave this a shot before, but I must have done something wrong. I was trying to plot a route to the Grand Canyon. I know what the latitude and longitude coordinates are in the above example, but what is HECA, or BLT? Are these airports, and if so what do you put here when you are plotting a course that is not an airport?

HECA = Airport (Cairo, Egypt)
BLT = VOR
MILAD= Intersection.
