ATC Sound

ie: "request taxi" there is no voice, requesting taxi, nor does the display change indicating that Ground received the message. When flying and tuned to a Center, there is no traffic information, even though there are numerous A/C in the vicinity. Yet engine, cockpit sounds are normal.

Posted: Tue Jun 29, 2004 3:35 pmSounds like your avionics switch is set to 'off', which would explain there being no sound, nor any onscreen confirmation of a message being sent.

I have assigned alt a for this as not all planes have a avionics switch.

Posted: Wed Jun 30, 2004 4:34 pmThanks for the input. Don't know how it happened but it did. Avionics off. Works fine now. The AT6 Texan does not have a switch, will have to do something about that.
