Whats the difference between GMAX and MX9 ? When i download a plane created with GMAX their is no  problem , but when it had been created with MX9 the game crashes . Why does this happen ? Do i need to download MX9 ? ??? ;)

Where did you find these MX9 files? I've never come across them before.  Are you sure they're for MSFS?

The only design applications I know that are compatible with MSFS are Gmax & FSDS2.

Yup , i downloaded a couple of planes and installed them on FS 9 and the readme said that the planes where created with MX9 , when i tried to fly the plane the game crashed and my computer went to a full re-boot . I then took those planes off and the game was fine again . I don't know what went wrong , but i would like to know what  MX 9 is . Thanks for your help anyway . Happy flying  ???  :)

Which plane was it?  I'd be interested to see a plane designed with this program because I've never heard of it either.

Could be that MX9 is the name of a gauge with this model then as if a gauge doesn't work (say from an older model) then when you try to use that plane it gives you an error message....

IT appears to have been one of Camil Valiquette's older models made with pre-gmax/pre-FSDS2, probably FSDS1.  This is the older model format that FS2004 does not fully support.  Given that it has SDLedit macros is the clue.  With FSDS2, and gmax, you don't need to resort to Mike Crosthwaite's excellent utility.
