Making AI aircraft, Un-AI
Posted: Fri Jun 18, 2004 12:00 pmI've pondering about this, and trying to make all AI-only aircraft, un-AI. I know I could just download the aircraft. But if anyone knows how to change this, I'd be greatly apprecated!

Posted: Fri Jun 18, 2004 12:08 pmDownload AirEd from the Aircraft Design section. Use it to open the AIR files of the AI Only aircraft. Change the Aircraft Type from 2 to 0 & save changes. Finally, copy the Panel folder from a similar flyable aircraft & paste it into the main folder of the appropriate aircraft. The AI Only drones have no DVC & might not perform too well as flyable types.

Posted: Fri Jun 18, 2004 12:29 pmHagar advise is right on. But the result might not be worth the effort as the flight dynamics for ai air craft are not that great. It might be like trying to fly a hanger with wings
