Hi, In FS 2004, the Mooooney Bravo, what a pain this aircraft has been. Microsoft has put me through all there hoops to stop it from turning/banking to the right. I`ve tryed every setting in the game, short of unloading it Now 4 weeks later a teck in ND tells me, it must be something wrong in the game/mooooney? Well, Friday, he told me he would have the people that installed the Mooooney in FS 2004 call me? Thrusday now and no calls,HUMM. O`Well, the Cub in the game is pertty fast, for those loong cross-country`s, don`t you think so? Don`t mean to sound ungreatfull but I like the Mooooney Bravo, cross-control and all, but mid-flight course corrections, coming off the auto-pilot, can get interesting and landing in a cross-wind is real fun. Just some thoughts this morning. Stay safe and God Bless, Timnray

Thats strange other than the normal prop effect on take off I have no problem with the default mooney. It handles fine the only default plane that is a real challange has been the default baron.
I will have to revalueate it and make sure. I only use it every now & then. 8)

Hi, So far, 2 tecks at ND have experenced the banking/right turn problem. After a two hour flight you can have your hands full because it get worse as the flight progresses. Don`t know where it be, say getting to reserve fuel on a flight. Has a FAA licensed pilot I am wondering about the program, big engine, big torque?? Thanks For the site and the info. Regards, timnray

I will try it with only a small amount of fuel in it this should be the same as flying for 2 hours and see how it handles. I will let you know what i find. I know that I have never flown a two hour or longer leg with the money so maybe thats why I have never noticed it.
Will kep you advised as to what I find

I told them 7 pm PDT would be fine, stay safe, Ray

Hi, also on this mooooney thing, the last teck I had on the phone in North Dakota, when he got it loaded and ask me what to do, I said, just push the thoddle foward, a couple seconds later I ask "whats it doing? he said, "Its turning to the right, is that what your talking about? Yes Sir, I said.---- I`ve worn out my drives loading and unloading the game to MS specs. with no luck.

Is there a Mooooney Bravo in the Downloads thats all set up to fly, Ive just noticed Re-paints so far in the 2004 stuff. No problem with the RG (300hp Yellow&Black paint one) it behaves just fine!! Thanks for that one, Guys.

Well, Thanks for your interest in my "Right turn Mooooney" Stay safe, Ray

That right turn on power up is normal...it's torque effect.

Some people find the baron a little touchy. I for one have no problem with either plane. Although the baron can be a little unforgiving when it comes to making corrections in altitude during landing, the seceret is not to over correct it takes a light touch, I have to admit that after flying B747's one has a tendency to over compensate when flying the baron. Its kind of like driveing a tractor trailor without power stering than get behind the wheel of a volkswagon

Hi All. Guess one way to discribe the problem I am having with the Mooooney is like flying a twin with the right shut down. I have played with the factors in the game and managed to tweak all the other singles in order, but no help on the Mooooney. My guess is that its a typt (aircraft) folder problem, because no problems with any other aircaft (single) in the game or downloads. In all fairness to the Mooooney`s flight problem the torgue of of the engine when full troddle is applyed should dissapate as the aircrafts surfaces become involed with control of the aircraft. If not, there is a serious flaw in the design of the aircraft flight handling, hence a widow-maker, if serious.

Hi All, Just tryed the Mooney with the rudder trim in the Take/off position-------thats not funny MS-------is all I can say hehe. Everthing on the panel, DG, turn/bank say slow right turn. Then a pan outside from behind shows the aircraft in a shallow right bank, and a veiw of the horizon shows same effect?? Well, it just has me puzzled why this aircraft out of all the single engine in the 2004 that I have is preforming like this? A computer glich on my end?, any suggestions where to look? Hey, thanks for the site, I know some guys/gals have put there hearts into putting the downloads togethor, THANKS. Stay safe, Ray

Keep your fuel tanks switched and even on both sides during flight or one wing will become heavier than the other side and cause a wing to drop.theres fuel tanks in each sides of the wings if you drain off one side of the wing the other side will weigh more in fuel so you halft to switch tanks to keep the weight even on each wing.if i am reading this right this may be your problem.

I have no problem with the mooney. Currently I'm on a cross country trip in the Mooney and has flown over 3,000miles with it. Not one problem. (Except I didn't know how to contol the mixture when I first started flying it ::))

Ray: I just tried the mooney for the first time after reading these postings, and I had no problem. However I did notice a toggle switch on the right side of the panel labled rudder trim. You might try adjusting the rudder and see what happens.

Thanks All for your replys. I got a call last night from Jim at Microsoft and I`am going to call shortly 07:38 PDT here now. I have used both the automixture and leaning the engine myself on the Mooney Bravo and most all the other singles in MS 2004. I have found that while leaning the engine myself I`am not able to get the expected increase of O say 100 rpm that should be indicated in the rpm. My first 45 hrs where spent at a little town in central Nevada called Tonopah. The field elevation there is, if I remember right, is about 6200 ft. The 1-filthy OPS sorry, 150 had to be leaned to the max. to get it off the ground there. I`am sure some of you have heard of some what famous FBO there, Rick Blakemore, who owned Mustang Airlines there. Rick was a state senator at the time (1969 circa). He had a Cesnna 206 in which he flew down to Vegas every day has part of his service. Mostly hauling people to the Tonopah Test Range, lots of interesting stuff going on there, then and now! Well, a little history bout`Mustang Airlines, but, better call MS and get my Mooney back in shape

Stay safe, Ray
