FS2004 logbook problems!

Here lately after I finish a flight and go to log out of FS2004 I get a message about my log book that says: You have chosen to log flight time but the logbook file does not exist You will not be able to log the flight time until you recreate the flight time logging file or select a new flight time logging file in the logbook dialogue

I have tried everthing I can think of to fix this but so far havent come up with a solution. Just wondered if anyone could help me  ::)
