PAI

I've just completely installed all the available official PAI-packs.

However i still have the default traffic to. Does this default ai   have a bigger priority on parkingspots, in other words, does the default ai make me see less real ai?

If so, how can i removbe the default ai? Running the remover from PAI doesn't work.

Oh, and do i need afcadfiles to? if so wich one do i need fot the PAI packages?

Thanks!

I downloaded PAI, and I also still have the default ai aircraft. I even renamed the traffic.bgl file, but they are still there  ???

Hi Omag,

If you read the documentation in the specialpackages.zip file within the PAI installer zip file, it'll show you how to make the default remover work. It's all to do with BGL files and the like.

As for the AFCAD files, if PAI needs them, PAI installs them.

PAI airline packages don't install the afcads.  You can go to the afcad department and get the package of all of there default afcads to run through the installer.

So is it true ? Do default airlines have priority over the real airlines (PAI) ??

I don't think there's any priority, to be honest....

No they don't have priority, but what your seeing is the lack of parking spaces and the lack of assigned parking spaces.  If you have blank parking codes then the spaces are free for all and the default ai don't have parking codes so they tend to fill the spaces.  Your going to see lots more planes after adding the proper afcads due to the limited parking in the default setups.

I have had no problem removing the default traffic.bgl and putting it in a safe place somewhere else.  This keeps the default traffic from showing up.  PAI does have a bgl file that will get rid of the commercial default traffic and keep the general aviation traffic.  This is what I have done. ;D

On the subject of this. I just installed PAI and the AFCAD Packages and am very pleased, but would like to see more General Aviation aircraft.

What I found on PAI are the "airline Packages" and for now I've just installed the "official" to be safe.

Is there somewhere where I can find Gen. aviation packages to fill up some airport parking?

Thanks.

GA traffic tool is awesome.  Here's a shot of Anchorage and all of it's GA.

Yeah just place the deafult traffic .bgl file in a folder.

I had to get rid of the default airlines, because each time I tried to land at a larger airport, I would have go-around about 3 to 4 times   :P .

And to get some GA traffic, I used the PAI, GA pack, which has the right registrations in each country. I was tired of feeling like Im in the US all the time.
