Official Soaring in FS9?

Postby congo » Thu May 27, 2004 10:03 am

I just went to Microsofts Official Flight Simulator website for the first time ever!

And what did I see front, top and Center? An Article on soaring in FS9...... pretty rich considering they failed to support gliding at all in FS9 other than supplying us with the Schweizr 232.

Maybe they are getting the message. They even supplied an apparently official (albeit unsupported) FS9 Soaring Challenge as a download!!!!

Going to try it now.

EEK!

I checked it out, it's quite.... er.... not.

I couldn't find the "thermal" at the first waypoint.

Apparently, there is supposed to be  a single thermal at each waypoint.

NP, I'll put out a decent scenery file soon.   ;)
