Hi all, newbie here.

Just recently purchased FS2004 and have got a problem with trying to display the 2d view cockpit in any aircraft.

The 3d view works fine but when I press the s key to change to 2d all the controls are blacked out. Also when I try to display the radio it appears as a black rectangle on the screen.

Any ideas would be appreciated to solve this problem.

Popeye. This is a common problem with some graphics cards. The first thing I would check is your video card drivers. The latest drivers posted on the card manufacturer's site should be OK as long as they're DX compatible. Specific drivers will depend on your OS & the type of the card. Also try the latest DirectX from the Windows Update site.
