(Not sure if this is the right place...... other Mods... move if neccesary.)

If you are interested in learning a bit more about the relationship between the commercial aviation ATC system in FS2004 and the one that happens in the real world......... try out the combination of the following two links at the same time:

First of all..... load up the following link into your streaming audio media player:

http://audio2.km3t.org:8010/bos_gnd_twr

You can also go here and get this and other airport's live ATC... such as KJFK:  http://www.liveatc.net/

That above link will give you streaming live ATC from KBOS...... Logan International in Boston, MA USA.

Already have them bookmarked...I listened to JFK tower the day the last concorde departed...sad sad sad  :-[
But most of you will notice how fast and easy the pilots and controllers communicate - professional to the fingertips  :)

The FS series and also VATSIM have really helped me to learn "ATC-speak", I've found. I have those sites bookmarked, and occasionally I'll listen in just to hear some ATC, and I find myself understanding it without too much difficulty. What's also really cool is to have a copy of the approach plates and even the terminal chart for the Boston Ground that broadcasts, so you can follow an aircraft on approach right up to the gate.

my advice is to listen in the morning. Its not overly busy and one of the controllers is really funny. Used to listen to this one all the time, eventually found something else to divert my attention:) Good link

Edit:http://www.home.zonnet.nl/rdeckert/webcam.html
try that link for amsterdamn webcam of a runway and the ATC the webcam may take a while to load, after a minute or so a box will popup just click yes to install the cameras software
