Has anyone tried any of these packages that are out? It looks like it could be worth a try but as my available time to fly has been cut drastically I would hate to waste it on something lame. Can anyone tell me if it is worth the time to try it out?

There are a ton of them out there most of them were not either diffuclt or dangerous to me. I still think that getting in and out of jackson hole (kjac) in minium weather is one of the most diffacult approaches to make.

There was a post a few weeks back that suggested a difficult approach. Next time your in Washington try flying into SFS Airpark (80WA), with low visibility. Good Luck!  ;)

1600' grass strip down in a hole.  I don't know where FS9 got it.......it isn't even on my Seattle sectional.  (Although my SEA sectional is outdated...don't fly real birds anymore)

I have posted about them a number of times here.  That are a lot of fun.  Look for some of my prior posts.....but I can't remember the topics  ;).  I know one was in Payware Screeenshots....called "I hate it when that happens"  (payware cause fo the effects file when I crashed the Lear) .

Some are good... some are great.  A few are not too m,uch to write about.  But theyr are freeware.  Each "volume" has about 8 "flights".  I think there are about 23 volumes so far.

Doherty's Difficult and Dangerious Approchaes is the name I think.

I have all 24 and found them to be fun to do. First you are going to airports that you might never go to, second  not all are hard but most can be a challenge depending on weather

If nothing else flying in some new places will be fun.
