Likely vertical speed is too high.....but that is just a guess.

Do you have "aricraft stress caused damage" ON?  If not..... the aircraft will not "crash" from a hard landing that would have collapsed the gear or something.

best,

I can not speak from experience but I think I saw a post from someone who said that a lot of the check ride flights have problems in them.
I do not think it well let you alter crash detect once the ride has begun. I have not flown any of the check rides in fs2004. I did fly a lot of them in FS 2002 PRO though with no problems once I mastered them. 8)

Captain,

I flew this checkride today and didn't get the since-you-crashed message.  So why do you get it and I don't?

I haven't absolutely proved this yet but I'm pretty certain it's because the examiner doesn't know you're landing at Paine.  I saw this kind of thing in the IFR checkride.

You have to pass the VORs or RITTS within certain distances for the crossing to count.  If you don't the program doesn't see what your doing and sits and waits for you to cross.  So when you land, the program doesn't know what you're doing and thinks you've crashed.

At OLM the OBS has to flip from "To" to "From" and at PAE you have to pass within DME 1 nm or less.  At RITTS the outer marker light needs to come on.

Try the checkride again and use the GPS to make sure you pass over these points as closely as you can.
