My question is reguarding the spot plane. When I take off the camera always drops way below the aircraft and I can't judge my rate of climb. How can I change it so it works more like FS2002??

Hi NW,

From your inflight screen, click Alt (to get menu) and then View>View Options.

Select 'Spot view', uncheck 'gradual transition'. You can also experiment with the other settings to get what you want.

Cheers,
Dave

You can also use  your hat switch if you have one to position the point of view and by using the - and + keys you can zoom in and out.  The arrow keys on the number pad will put you either  left right front or rear of the plane. That is the 4 6 8 and 2 keys not the seperate arrow only keys.  8)

Thanks much Dave and Gary.  Dave I think I'll try what you were suggesting.  I don't understand why FS2004 would work like this and not like FS2002 and before did.

Thanks,
MIKE
