Working Aircraft carriers for fs9

Postby Flyboyfitzy » Mon Mar 08, 2004 9:16 pm

hey people

Just want to ask if there is or if not where can i get a working Aircraft carreir(s) for or in flightsimulator 2004.

I just downloaded an F14 tomcat and it is the best fighter jet i have. !

Now comes the next part of my tomcat piloting, Landing and lauching from aircraft carriers on the sim. Is this possible with a Carrier om the sim? if so where can i find this rather large canoe? where in the seven seas is this boat ?

If their is none on the sim. Where can i find them? and can i get one to install.?

help would be good in this problem.. Flyboy.

Don't know about other locations for carriers but you will find one almost directly west out of San Francisco, not to far offshore (in FS9)

If your f-14 and stugg have the gauges for that stuff then yes it will work. If you don't know then e-mail me and i'll send you the files for it.

Have any of you ever been in contact with the guy who made that New Zealand carrier??  I sent him e:mail a couple of times but never heard from him.  I was hoping to find out how I can "move" the carrier somewhere else. :)

no, theres like twelve of them and the desinger but them where he whats them, it's part of the modleing it can't be changed as for as I know. Did you get the CARR2004B.zip or the nucular carrier? you need the CARR2004B.zip file. That is the one that my textures work for. I didn't know there was a nother carrier pack.

The New Zealand Carrier stuff is the Waikato1 stuff. I have it and it is very nice.

ON that one, if I remember right, you start out in the hangar. I have gotten myself to the lift and can't figure out how to get the lift to activate. lol

Maybe I need to read the files included a little more closely eh?    ;)

The CARR2004B package is very nice too. Great job allasaurus 1.

download this panel you should use it for the f-14
[ftp]http://www.flightsim.com/cgi/kdl/main/72/f14car04.zip?khOW6067[/ftp]
There is a cat gauge on the left, set the parking brake. now arm the cat gauge, set the speed that you would like the cat to through you at. after that release the parking brake and it should through you off the carrier.
To land on the deck exstend the tail hook and thats it. It should catch you as soon as your wheels hit the deck.

I'm using th F14 and carr2004b file along with the f14car04.zip  file and every thing works great. The only problem I have is that my deck is white. loads of fun launching, still haven't made a trap yet  :(, but still trying ;D
