According to the specs in FS2004 the Learjet 45 has a service ceiling of 51,000 feet. I've tried flying it to this height, but at 47,000-49,000 feet it becomes unresponsive and threatens to stall. IAS is around 105 knots with N1 at full power. I have the de-icer on and have reduced the fuel load to 20%, but can't get it to the specified ceiling. Any ideas?

try to climb after passing FL290 on mach number ...may be MN.82 or MN.84 will do the job.

Good point on Mach .82 or .84.
REM: Service ceiling is defined as the altitude at which the a/c will climb at 100 (one hundred) feet per minute.
Has much to do with weight.  Bet your petut that fuel is near flameout.
Did I mention that performace is predicated and adjusted to standard day?

Hi,
there lots of different LRJs. You are quoting the specs for the turbojet LRJ from FS4 to ? but the newer LRJs in FS2K are turbo fans and don't have anything like that ceiling. Check the model number it is and use those specs :-)
