The paint textures on the aircraft, all of them that i flew where looking sharp and crisp yesterday, i flew this morning and now they are blurry. I checked most all and they are all blurry.
This happens every once in a while,
I have not changed any settings in FS9 or on the ATI 9600 Pro, They are always the same.
Does anyone know what could be going on here?
Its all the planes, stock and add ons.
Thanks, DSH

You need to get those cats to go into AA.

.but i have been thinking of getting the ATI 9600xt model so i hope this is not a wide spead problem with the 9600.but if you would list everything about your system some one would be able to help you more.see my system spec below on my post list all that information about your system.

I have the 9600 Pro and I have the same problem. Some of my textures look great, others dont. I always have trouble with Usairways, they shimmer like crazy, in my planes and Project ai. I have the mip on 4 also. Most of the problems occur along the windows, the paint always shimmers like a reflective wave. Have been trying to fix it for a long time. I think I may have to convert the textures, but have not tried yet, and really dont know how. Any help would be appreciated.

I doubt i could offer much in the way of good advice to the problem at hand since i dont have that card yet.but if that were my system i would pull that ATI 7500 PCI 64mb out and try to sell it.and up grade in stead of over clocking a system unless you have money to burn on a new motherboard or video card.just my thoughts.but good luck with the problem.

well i don't no what ya mean about the 7500, thats a pci card running the second monitor, i use that just for the stack and gps and some,... it makes it easier on frame rates to use a seperate card for a second monitor. it does just fine.

I some times find my textures go blurry, easy to resolve. On outside view just zoom right in to the plane and you will notice the textures get sharper again, zoom back out and all is fixed.
