Posted: Tue Mar 02, 2004 7:06 am182 is fuel injected, it has no carb heat. U will generally notice a drop in rpm when carb heat is activated on an aircraft that has it.
Note rpm b4 turning it on. turn it on for 20seconds or so, then turn off. If your revs after applying carb heat r higher than b4 u turned it on then u were starting to ice up.
