Hi mate!

I dunno if I should be helping you after you trashed my zeke on the zone!  ;D

I've got very similar specs as your PC, TI4200 128mb 8x AGP, 1024mb ram, XP2600+ cpu.

If you mean the water effects, ie. wave texturing and reflections.....

Settings/Display/Scenery tab/Water Effects.......... move the slider to the right.

The Terrain Detail slider will move back to Land only by itself, that's normal.

I know it works with these drivers: 43.51, 53.03, 53.06 and DX9.0b

Most of my sliders are fully up, no ground scenery shadows, mipmapping=4, lights 6 or 8.

Render to texture, T&L, Trilinear Filtering all on. Global texture size, massive (ok for 128mb card, 1 notch down for 64mb card).

Antialiasing off in game settings, but force enabled 4x or 4Sx in driver settings.    Aniso Filt. = off

Full quality in rest of driver settings.

I got all the sliders up, just the water looks like crap compared to what others have and the addons just dont work like they should and i have installed them properly so im a bit frusrated as im a bit fussy especially when or if you have Call of Duty the water effects look real.  AAARRRGGG.
Oh Congo it must be another canadian that got you. unless its Mohaa or COD then ya ,its ME.

I think it was I'm_a Canadian2, anyway, yeah, I thought it was you.

The water effects can look real trashy on my game, but at some altitudes and angles they look great.

I downloaded a new water texture set, and it looks great compared to the stock textures.

I now have nice reflections. what I neede was the 53 series drivers from edimensional and the stereo drivers . the water now is great with no FPS hit all the fussin and a crapy driver was the problem.
