I seem to recall seeing a steering fix for 2004 DC3 -does anyone know of it?

I havent noticed anything wrong with the DC3.since the props are not flowing directly over the rudder you have to steer it with the left and right brake.try that.i havent seen any fix for the DC3 though.

If the 'fix' your looking for is making the rear wheel steerable, open the aircraft.cfg and scroll down to this line.....(I know this is 'cheating', but not being a diehard purist, I find it makes flying these a/c less frustrating).

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.

DC3 handles ok on the ground.

Be sure the tailwheel unlock position is as desired.

In is locked, out is unlocked.  Despite what the 3D cockpit placard shows.

Locked for TO/Land and unlocked for taxi or for turns at end of rollout.

Tail wheel unlocked, coordinated rudder will result in differential braking.

With no modification to cfg file.
