no artificial horizons in russian planes?

Postby Big_Al » Thu Feb 26, 2004 1:51 pm

I'm trying to fly the Antonov an24-rv and the Tupolev 154b2, but neither aircraft has a working artificial horizon instrument, the one that I'd think would be it doesn't seem to move at all. Am I just doing something wrong or is this by design? It makes it next to impossible to fly

You have to open the Engineers panel and turn them on.
Since I can't read Russian, I just flip all available switches.

Hi Big Al there is a very thorough little manual with the 24 explaining exactly what you have to do to get her up and running, failing that nailing all the switches does seem to have the desired effect ;) ;D

There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!

Yeah I read most of the instructions, but could not figure out how to get the autopilot runnin.

I wish they did a panel with say english stickers under each switch.
