Help with cabin views

Postby jwctus » Tue Feb 24, 2004 11:26 pm

I have not been able to figure out how to view inside the passenger cabins of the Opensky CRJ or the iFDG A320. Are there key commands to do this????

I don't think these models have virtual cabins.  If you are trying to get a wing view, you have to edit the panel.CFG.  I am not sure what the exact numbers would be, but I know someone here at Simviation would be able to tell you. ;D

My reason for thinking there would be a way to view inside the cabin is that when you look at the thumbnails view of the textures files for the Opensky CRJ, for example, you see details for seats, passengers, their clothing, bulkheads, etc. Also, in the spot plane view, when you change angles, you get a split second "passing through" view of the interior.

That's not the Opensky fleet, it's the MelJet fleet that you often see screens of. ;)
Great edit, Bob.

YEs, the mejlets have very nice vc's.  I dont think i've ever seen one on an opensky, and as of yet, I havent seen one on the iFDG A320 or MD11.

There's only so much these incredible designers and painters can do!

No, the POSKY planes have a VC, they don't have cabin views.  These are two different things.
Great edit, Bob.

If there is no passenger cabin view in the POSKY CRJ, why all the bother with doing the textures files for interior details, including passengers and their clothing?
And, as I mentioned, when you change view angles in the spot plane mode you actually do get a "quick flash" view of the passenger cabin with seats, passengers, and all. ???

The project open sky have a verry nice VC in them the updated models do i know that for shure.if they were just workable then it would be wonderfull with out haveing to switch back to 2d panel to work the AP and shuch.but i have seen a add on to aircraft where when you get to cruiseing Alt you can watch a movie in the back of the plane.but i cant remember where i saw it at.i go to so many sites.and my FPS are borderline with heavy clouds so i didnt try it out.
