Is Spectator mode supported?

Postby uncertainty » Wed Feb 25, 2004 3:15 pm

Is it possible to just walk around an aiport or view the airport from any angle or height?

It seems the only way to view the airports is from the plane or from the spot view or tower view.

Is it possible to scroll around the airport via the tower view?  I have not been able to find anyway to scroll the tower view?

Thanks for viewing my babbling message..

As far as i know on your question of moveing around freely i dont think thats possible.unless someone makes it possible.but microsoft shure didnt make this happen.but you can slew around by useing the Y key and ajust how high you are with the F1,F2,F3,F4.keys but thats about it.but in slew mode you halft to take the plane with you.

You might want to download one of the cars in the MISC section (I think?) and drive around the airport.  I've done that and it is pretty cool.

With ActiveCamera this is possible.  Too bad it's gone greedware for FS9 though. :'(
Great edit, Bob.

Google it.

 Couldnt have said it better!

I'd advise getting a car to drive around or just finding a fun helo to fly around in.  Also, there are a few odd flying things in the misc section- a guy on a broomstick, a guy with a jetpack, etc.
