Boston Logan download

Postby fellowtraveller » Tue Feb 24, 2004 7:52 am

This is only my second download so please reply in words of one syllable if possible!  I have downloaded the airport successfully but I cannot find the file to correct the relocation of the runways etc.  So, as predicted, I have planes running along the grass etc etc.  Is the file missing or am I just looking in the wrong place?  The airport is a lovely job so I want it to work correctly!  Thanks :)

hi Fellow,

I didn't d/l this airport, but what UR tellin us is that U need the AFCAD for the correct procedures at Logan, dunno if it's avaliable, if not probably some1 will correct it and a patch will   be placed soon.

Thanks for that; you put it so much more succinctly than I did!  Appreciate it!

Did you read the install instructions?

AF2_KBOS.bgl needs to be copied into the Flight Simulator 9\Addon Scenery\Scenery directory, and this ought to work!

Trouble is I don't think the AF2_KBOS.bgl is there. It should be next to the Sound and Texture folders right?  But it isn't!  Any ideas? ???

If you unzip all the files to a temporary directory first of all, you'll have a folder named afcad2, and you'll find it in there.

Thanks very much for your advice but the AFCAD file is not there; at least I am not going mad.  I guess I'll have to wait for a patch. :'(

Just to let you all know that Boston Logan is now up and running thanks to the file that Zcottovision sent me.  My first day on the forum, so thank you all. :) ;D
