Hi all,

Since i got me some more memory, i can turn up the Anti-aliasing to 4x on my graficscard.

it looks wonderfull, but one downside. The FPS drop from 18 - 20 to about 5 - 7 FPS with the same settings. Especially with clouds around.

I am looking for a good set-up to middle between quality and speed. about 15 FPS would be nice.

What sliders do you guys adjust to balance?
Whats the difference between resolution x 32 and resolution x 16? Is the difference showing?

Thanks in advance. - Specs are in signature

Clouds are enemy number 1 to frame rates.turn those clouds down a bit and they will still look great.

AA setting 4X Quincrunx (sp?) seems to be about the best "middle of the road" setting for a balance between good looks and performance. You can also set your cloud density down some and it'll still look great. I also found that for some strange reason switching to outside "spot plane" view and zooming well in on your aircraft before going back to the cockpit seems to speed up FRs. Why I don't know but it works on my machine.
