Would like to get Mike Stone's Gloster Javelin for FS2004, it's on the old Simviation site but downloading doesn't work, you get a 404. If anyone has it and would be able to send me a copy that would be great. PM me and I'll send my e-mail address. Investdude

You can download the complete Mike Stone collection (including the Javelin from our library:

To get all Mike's works (which is an amazing amount !) type in mike stone (with separation), for with mikestone you'll get only 2.

Where can I find his statue ?

Unfortunately those old links are still not working. I was able to get Mike Stone's Javelin though. Is it possible to get Kazunori Ito's Javelin too?

Try (in the 'new' Simviation) to search for 'Kazunori Ito Javelin'
However, the aircraft shown (javelin.zip) is NOT Kazunori's Javelin, but another aircraft.

I meant the "required file" links that go to the old Simviation File section will take you there but you cannot download anything, you get a 404.

Now trying to download Kazunori Ito's Javelin. I can find it in the old Simviation File section but cannot download it because those links don't work.

Could you REALLY fix those old file links Pete please?

The file at Simviation for Kazunori Ito's Javelin does NOT contain the Javelin.
Doing a search for Kazunori Ito Javelin takes us to a page from the 'new' Simviation, where the following is found:

Required File

If you click on Required File - you will be taken to a 404 page!!

HOWEVER-- that is actually redundant, as the so-called required file is the file just above the Update!!
If you do download the FS2004/2002 Gloster Javelin FAW.9 (the file above the update), you will get a download called 'Javelin.zip' that DOES NOT contain Ito San's Javelin,
but a Twin Javelin by Next Generation Aircraft Design developed by David Sommerfield, which bears no relation to the Javelin that we want.

I cannot find Kazunori Ito's Javelin within any other sim library.

So, there is no need to fix that link in the 'old' library, as it is a dead link to an incorrect Javelin aircraft.

Yes, sometimes there are 'Required File' links that are dead, a simple search in the 'new' Simviation will find the required file.

I hope this explains why the link is what it is.

Thanks Zswobbie1 for the info. I did find Kazunori Ito's javelin on FlightSim.com so my problem is solved.

Just strange that the download here was for a totally different aircraft.

So, which of the two do you prefer? Mike Stones or Ito's?
At the moment, I'm happy with the MS Javelin, as I've found textures for Thunder City, here in Cape Town.

Prefer Ito's because it's the only one I've been able to convert to CFS2, Mike's wouldn't convert.
