Why blame the painter for something he obviously didn't touch?

This sounds like a model problem, not a texture issue.

You should try to talking to the developer about this, not the painter.

ctrl + e doesnt always work. There are aircraft that are cold start and require the fuel to be turned on mixture set and magnetos turned on etc. Have you tried that as well?

Test whether you can start the engines on default aircraft within the simulatormapquest. This can help determine if the issue is specific to the modification or a more general problem.

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to bring to your attention a persistent issue I have been encountering with the SDG119. Unfortunately, despite multiple attempts, the device does not seem to be functioning properly, and I am seeking your assistance to address this matter.

Open file Aircrat.cfg with a text editor, Notepad or Notepad++ will do.

Search for the line:
engine_type = 3 //0=Piston, 1=Jet, 2=None, 3=Helo-Turbine, 4=Rocket, 5=Turboprop

change the engine_type value from 3 to 0, it did the trick for me:
engine_type = 0 //0=Piston, 1=Jet, 2=None, 3=Helo-Turbine, 4=Rocket, 5=Turboprop
