Overcast Skies for FS2004

Getting very close now, a few more adjustments needed mainly for the "Thin Overcast" set. Then they'll be made available for downloading here at Simviation.
These specialty sky sets will feature "Thin Overcast", "Moderate Overcast", and "Thick Overcast" skies, a 3-in-1 package. Each sky set is uniform throughout all 10 days of FS2004 displaying, which is what add-on programs such as Flight Environment, FEX, and Rex all do after choosing a sky set. In the cases of these textures as well as the upcoming "Bright Skies for FS2004" you'll simply need to copy all 140 of the textures then paste them into your main FS2004/Texture folder whenever you desire to fly in these weather conditions more realistically. First though, insure that you've backed up your existing files for later re-installation if so desired.

Thin Overcast, flying Rick Piper's great Hawker Siddeley HS.780 Andover C1 and descending into Sisters, Oregon:
Moderate Overcast, flying Milton Shupe's excellent Dash 7 Canadian Ice Recon model off of the coast of Nova Scotia:
Thick Overcast, flying the smooth AFG Super King Air B-300 in storming conditions as it was here yesterday at noon:
5/8 to 7/8 cloud densities are working quite well with all 3 sets. 30 to 40 miles visibility seems best for Thin, 20 to 30 miles for Moderate, and 20 miles or less for Thick. You'll still see glimpses of Sun through cloud openings although it will be muted. Dramatic Sunrise and Sunsets at times as well.
