Landing lights and night textures

Postby Balsa_Pilot » Tue Mar 01, 2016 12:47 pm

First of all I should say that the plane in question is "THE 737 EXPERIENCE by MOACH." I like the airplane but the problem is at night when you turn on the landing lights, the fuselage widows illuminate along with the the tail logo lights. If you turn off the landing lights the entire plane goes dark except for the nav, strobes, beacon and taxi lights. I don't understand because this lighting effect comes from the FUSE_L.bmp and the TAIL_L.bmp in the texture folder. My question is, how are these two night textures tied to the landing lights? I've had this same problem with other planes as well. Any ideas?

Hi,

The alpha channel of the night texture determines which switch will control that part of the lighting. If there is a white alpha channel in that area, the landing light switch controls it. If a black alpha channel the panel light switch will control it.
