VOZ 1.8.....

Postby Fozzer » Tue Mar 01, 2016 5:30 am

Hello FS 2004 Chums... :D ...!

Just a quick reminder of the wonderful, freeware! program to change all the scenery texture "colours" for different parts/areas of the World....

Colours of the South Land!

VOZ 1.8

It includes a desktop "Switcher" to alter the "type" of scenery to display in FS 2004; Tropical, Forest, Desert, etc, etc.

It was designed to display; "Australia type" of scenery colours, but it also works for all other parts of the World!

I use it for all the various parts of the USA!

It is a real shame that it was not programmed for FSX, but it works wonderfully for FS 2002 and FS 2004.... ...!

I have used it for many years, and still use it for all my "FS 2004" flights!

It also displays the lovely, realistic; "Koorbygen" buildings, instead of the default ones!

Give it a try...you will love it!

Paul....FSX and FS 2004!... ...!

Select your type of scenery!...>>>

Tried it years ago. Kinda a pain to use as you had to "compensate" for different areas of Australia you were flying in, added some textures that were NOT natural to other parts of the world, difficult to entirely get rid of OFF the computer when I wanted to do so, AND found Koorbygen as separate download (which I still use) so didn't need entire program.
Just my opinion .... although shared by some others in other flightsim forums
Glad you're happy with it.

I used/use it exclusively for my flights around the USA, and found/find it useful for "colouring" the different locations and seasons throughout the year: Dry Summers in Arizona, and wet seasons in Washington, etc.

I have never found anything quite like it for; "Colouring" the FSX ground scenery.

It is a freeware program I have always enjoyed in FS 2004.

Well worth a try for anyone interested in; "ground texture colours".

I already use GE Pro for FS 2004....

VOZ 1.8 for FS 2004 allows me to select a type of scenery; "Texture colour" which has a different effect to GE Pro.

It allows me to select a particular area in the USA, etc, and change the scenery "colour" to suit the area below me.

If I am in Arizona/New Mexico, I can change the colour to represent desert colours.
If I am in Washington/Oregon I can change the colour to represent lush green foliage.

It allows more flexibility than using the default colours for the selected area!

Practically all my "flying explorations" are performed at, or close to the ground, so countryside ground texture colours are of most importance to me, with little interest on what goes on above me!

(FTX Global, and UT USA, fulfil my requirements for my FSX. I just wish I had more flexibility in altering the ground; "colours", as in VOZ 1.8 ).

Paul....exploring the scenery!.... :D ...!
