HJG Panel Woes

Postby tbus » Mon Dec 07, 2015 8:28 am

Recently I downloaded HJG's DC 8-30, 50, 63 and 73 models, sounds, textures and panels as per instructions.
The -30 and -50 are just fine, however I cannot get any panel to show in the -63 and -73.
I tried all possible tricks to no avail.
Anyone familiar with this phenomenon?

All I can tell ya from experience is ya really gotta read their read me file and pay close attention to what your doin, with the PANEL CFG files how they want ya to rename them.

I know 1 707 I have from there, I had to create a whole separate folder in the Main FSX section and dump some panel files in there for it to work correctly.

that Caravelle panel will NOT display correctly in FSX Gold / Acceleration no matter what, theres a part within, that just won't work for whatever reason, so I ended up using my payware Vickers VC-10 Panel in it, and it works like a charm, all switches gauges aircraft functions etc, better than what they had, despite what Aerofoto may think.

All I can say is double check yourself its easy to over look things. as I know and have done myself more than a few times !

Do you have the "FSFSCONV" folder within your original download , lets start there.

Ok.... got it working. Turned out to be corrupted downloads. I re-downloaded and all worked well that time. I fear I might have downloaded too many files at once and my 'ol 'puter gaged!
.... FS2004 versions of course.
