Every few months my fs9 stops working , try to open program and get message FS9 has stoppeed working , keep back up on flash drive but reloading isa pain any suggestions thanks

I have to admit that is really strange. Have you ever had problems with any other program doing the same thing?
This could be a sign of a disk drive about to die. But I have to be honest with you this is a best guess only.
I had a disk go bad on me but not like you are describing. In my case files were just disappearing and the program would not run at all.
But if you are having to reinstall it every time this could be the case. How old is the drive?
You can run a program called check disk and see if there are any problems with the drive
Check out the link below. It can not hurt to run this program it is the only way to find out if your drive is having problems or not.
