When choosing which bike to buy to pull my 4-seater Busmar Sidecar, the 1,000cc 4-cylinder, Ariel square 4, or the Vincent 1,000cc vee-twin...

I finally purchased my 1948 HRD (Vincent) 1,000cc Rapide vee-twin...for £100 in 1966!

The most troublesome of all my many British Bikes!

British bikes were quite cheap in the olden days!

My best Brit bike, was my 1958 BSA 650cc Super Rocket twin, Café Racer, (which also pulled my 2-seather sidecars on occasions!).

Ok...good deal. I found the thread you pasted and continued our chat on scooters there. Ya get me talking about Brit bikes,and I cant say enough about them. Love them ! I would LOVE to see Triumph come out with a 1200 to 1400 cc scooter !!! Anyway...see ya on the original scooter section where we started the bike conversation. :D
