Did this once but can't remember how

I once activated something via the main FS9 CFG file and I can't remember how I did it. When it was on, it would show the text above an AI plane showing where it departed to and where its destination was. Can someone tell me how to do this again? For the life of me, I can't remember how I did it. Thank you for your time and answers.

Try this: Start FS09 as usual. Then go into SETTING, you'll see that at the bottom left, I think:

SETTINGS>TRAFFIC>AIRCRAFT LABELS

Check the labels box.

My aircraft labels box is unchecked, I don't see any labels on the AI planes. I seem to recall unchecking that box long ago, after which the labels no longer appeared.

I don't think the cfg file has anything to do with this.

I made a short cut using key inputs .I found the label assignment in the toolbar where you can edit the keys for concorde visor and the like. I then found the traffic label key stroke and assigned it to am stick switch (one of several switches).
If you still have trouble, say so in the thread, and I'll try to offer pics of my solution that works very well. Seems like others have also sent you solutions as well. Keep us updated on how you're doing .
