I still regularly fly on-line with my FSX using the FS Host Servers (and FS Host Client).....
...but its always a very lonely flight!....

Multiplayer seems to have lost its popularity now, with the added complications of "FSX connection".
FS2002 and FS 2004 was always much easier, with the "Multiplayer" option ready-built into the Program!
http://www.chocolatesoftware.com/I've got my FS2004 and FSX ready to play on my HDD, so all we need is a FS Host IP address, a time (Time Zones!) and a place, and we could be good to go!
Note: FS Host IP addresses are available 24/7...
