computer out of memory

Hey!
My PC crashed yesterday. It had nothing to do with my FS9.
After some trying and errors I was able solve the problem, it was the bootmgr of my C-drive that was infected and refused to start Windows. With the help of a bootable systemrepair disk I have been able to repair the error.
Today, however, my FS9 told me several times already that my computer runned out of memory, and that FS9 had to stop and restart. There was each time the possibility to make a dumpfile of the error, which after 2-3 times I did, and there came out a file of 1.8 Gb, which I could not open to see what is in there...
Short: my pc seems now to show an error, which possibly could be depending on what happened yesterday with my pc, I guess, but I cannot be sure if that is really the case. I've notice on my task bar today that indeed my pc uses more memory now as compared to yesterday and the days before... Now I have ca 50% of memory use, and before I had only ca 30-35% memory use....
I have a Win7 8Gb ram memory pc, CPU 2x , 3300MHz, NVIDIA GeForce GT430 card with 2 pieces of Samsung SyncMaster screens, and I use FS9 on that pc since almost 3 years without troubles as I told you now....

Has anybody ever had a similar error, where FS9 tells that the computer is out of memory, without knowing from where that comes, and if he/she was able to repair that? Please explain me what I should do now....

I suggest you download Malware Bytes if you do not all ready have it and than do a complete scan.
You can get Malware Bytes from here https://www.malwarebytes.org/lp/lp4/02_ ... gQodX0IAQA
When you go to install it DO NOT repeat DO NOT use the free trail option. If you do you will not be able to use it once the time has expired. Just use the free version there is no time on this
Now if you wish to purchase this than you can use the trail version but even if you use the free version you can always come back and buy it if you want.

System repair disk will usually not remove Malware or Viruses completely
There is also a program called ADWCLEANER that is good for removal of malware and what are called PUP'S (POTENTIALLY UNDESIRABLE PROGRAMS)
You can find that here https://toolslib.net/downloads/viewdown ... dwcleaner/

Hey!
Indeed, Garymbuska, I guess the crash of yesterday must have had the same origin as the lack of memory today....
I scanned my PC with Spybot Search&Destroy, and removed all what it suggested to be a kind of Malware. And I see now that my memory used is less than before the scanning....
Hopefully it will proove that it was indeed some malware that boddered me.....
Thank you anyway!
