Hey all.

I had to do a reinstall and went to setup afcad and my anti virus went nuts. its calling it a trojan and won't let me do a thing with it. has anyone else run in to this?

I've ran it before on this comp without issues so this is puzzling.

just looking to see if I'm the only one thats had this issue.

You have to be careful now a days. There are several places to down load this from. There are lots of links like what you found that will lead to trouble.
My advice is to remove it. Now mind you this could be what is called a false positive but I would still remove it. It is not worth it.

Why not get it from here http://simviation.com//fs2004utilities1.htm
This could be a old version not sure.
I used to be able to down load from CNET without any problems but that is no longer true. A lot of sites are using sites that want to install tool bars on your web browser and some of these are real nasty.
Bottom line is be careful what and where you download from.
Remember if it sounds to good to be true you can bet that it is not....

False positive. Not uncommon. You can usually tell your anti virus program to "ignore" a particular file if you are confident it is giving a false reading. Downloaded from here ..... it's false.

What you have to do is to report this to McAfee and they will look at it and if they verify that this is a false positive they will fix it so McAfee will ignore it.
From what i have read there is no way of getting McAfee to ignore the file with out doing the above <<s
