However, I don't remember where I got this but somewhere on the net (may have been here, not sure) I downloaded the Omani Boeing 747SP with the extra bulge like that of the E4B and even though it said it was for both FS2004/FSX, I can't seem to get it to show in my FS9. Any ideas on what's going on? Kind regards, Jeremy

Just a shot in the dark here, I don't usually fly the big iron and am not familiar with that download:

Check to see if the panel or sound .cfg's are aliased to another aircraft, and make sure the specified alias path is correct. If either folder references a path that is a dead end, the aircraft will not display in menu.

As always - if you want help with a specific aircraft (or anything) downloaded from simviation, a link or name is essential. It could be anything. I couldn't find any Omani 747SP. Tell us what aircraft and someone can look at it for you.

Jeremy,

Downloaded the file from FlightSim.com. Read the read me file. To use in FSX they said to change the original aircraft cfg to the FSX thing. I did and it works great in FSX.
Then I noticed that the original cfg file is not right. Try changing the cfg. entry from this:

I can't test it cuz my FS9 computer is down, however, that should resolve your problem.
