Hello Again: Is there a setting in the FS2004 Autopilot that will allow me to assign a keyboard command to Vertical Speed up and down? Thanks...

The only way you might be able to do this is to obtain the payware version of FSUIPC I have read that you can define new keystrokes.
But I can not verify that as I do not have the payware version of FSUIPC.
I personally use the thumb wheel that is in most panels to do this. You can also change the default rate of climb and descent in the airplane cfg file of every aircraft you have.

I tend to install the lovely, default, full Bendix-King Radio stack (as a drop-down window) in most/all of my aeroplanes.

This gives me the opportunity to set both my altitude, and my rate of climb, in Autopilot....

...plus lots of other useful settings!

Ideal for radio navigation!

If I'm not mistaken, the Default keystroke for "AP Select Altitude" is Ctrl+Shift+Z.

Increase Selection is =
Increase Selection slightly is Shift =

Decrease Selection is -
Decrease Selection slightly is Shift -

Hope this helps...
