Flight Sim Jigsaw Puzzles - 70 Thousand downloads

As many may know, over at the Ford Tri-Motor Project site we have some electronic Jigsaw Puzzles. The puzzles are of course focussed on the images created for the Project Site. But that does not limit the entertainment you will enjoy from tinkering with these puzzles.

This thread is to advise that we, Edward Moore and I, have put in a bucket of time and effort and have a total of 293 exciting jigsaws to entertain you.

The current puzzles have proved to be very popular with over 70,000 downloads to date and many seem to have enjoyed most, if not all, of them.

And we have upped the anti - the last 14 puzzles on Page 4 are "different"

Lots of good images and good fun challenges for those that may enjoy a unique break from serious simming every now and again.

Pop on over to the Ford Tri-Motor Project site (http://www.ford-tri-motor.net) and click on the Puzzle page button - or for those that want direct access: http://www.ford-tri-motor.net/puzzle-page.htm

With the work on several new aircraft over the last few months and the bucket of images created for them I will probably have to add yet another page to the Puzzle Pages :-)

Don't forget - We are always on the lookout for some excellent screenshots of some of our liveries being flown in any one of our many scenery packs. So if your feeling artistic - do some screenshots and send them through to me. Full credit will be applied - must be 1024x768 JPG's - easier for me to compile into Puzzles.

Anyway - I am glad that the Puzzles are hitting the spot for many out there - who would have thought over 70 thousand downloaded and hopefully enjoyed - great stuff.

Regards

Garry.

Here is yet another Idea there is a third party company that makes various jigsaw puzzles kits and once you purchase one it allows you to turn any .JPG Wallpaper or image file into a puzzle with as may or as few pieces as you desire with a choice of different puzzle shapes as well.
You can also control the random shape of the pieces. You can even email them to anyone you desire.
The only negative thing about that is you can not save your progress
I have hundreds of images that I have converted into puzzles.
There are dozens of sites where you can download wall paper or images of just about anything you want even the Adult pictures if that is your thing.
I downloaded the jigsaw puzzle 2 mix which comes with 50 different puzzles that you can do as they are or modify them any way you desire.
The package also features a showcase where you can hang your pictures. But it only holds so many . What I did was to create folders and put the puzzles int them I have put them into categories like Nature Animals Fantasy and so forth
It is well worth the $20.00 here is the link

Hi mate,

Yes there is indeed a plethoria of Jigsaw Puzzle making programs and definately tons and tons of images on the net that would be great puzzles.

However, what we offer at the Ford Project site - is firstly "automatically save and resume" for each puzzle, second the puzzles are focussed on Flight Sim and most importantly there is almost 300 FREE puzzles available with many more in the mill for conversion and making available for simmers totally FREE.

The only cost to simmers to enjoy the bucket of FREE stuff available at http://www.ford-tri-motor.net is the time it takes to download and enjoy the volume and variety that we have available for their entertainment.

Regards.

Hi Mate,

Yep - some of them are a titch difficult with the blue backgrounds - just to keep us all "entertained" - but there is a lot of puzzles with complex backgrounds for the aircraft - and on Page 4 of the puzzle pages there is a batch of "classic art" images - but I made it a little more tough with these by having more pieces to the puzzle.

I have a great deal more images which do not have the blue background in reserve - just need to find the time to convert them all to puzzles - add two more pages to the Puzzle pages and then integrate them for download - tedious work - but they will be done.

Regards.
