Yep...I'm back Mr. Fozzer. Complete with a question that I saw someone else have in the past.Problem is,I don't remember where I saw it.I had this problem before and solved it.But stupidity entered,and I didn't copy my solution down. the problem is this.Everything worked fine.THEN,I packed my computer and moved.Set the computer back up and all of my ac want to pull to the right during taxi n take off.The method of pressing the #5 to recenter the rudder and trims doesn't solve this issue.It may be a steering problem rather than rudder steering.Any solutions or advice folks? Thanks in advance.

You are asking me a question from the distant past.... ....

..I cant remember what I did five minutes ago!... ...!

Thinking.....Did you go into your; "Joystick Properties", and re-calibrate the Joystick through all its Axes, including the throttle....

(This will show if the joystick is faulty)....

...and then save the settings.

Position yourself directly behind the Rudder and observe its movements while operating the Rudder Control on the Joystick...does the Rudder move to its extremes, and centre properly?

Or perhaps you normally "dress" to the right?.... ... ... ...!

The most likely cause of the problem is that you plugged a yoke/joystick into a different USB port. The computer decided that it's a new/different device and passed that on to your flight sim.

I don't know about other flight sims, but when FSX/Prepar3d sees a "new" device it can assign very random commands to it.

One of your USB controllers may now be sending the command "HARD RIGHT".


Download HIDMacros.exe (a free program).

The purpose of the program is to send SimConnect commands to flight sims like FSX or X-Plane.

What it'll do for you is to tell you what OTHER USB devices that your computer thought it had, EVEN if you aren't using FSX.




The grayed out listings are the "old" one that aren't plugged into you computer.



If you look closely you'll see that CH Eclipse Yoke is listed twice. But I've only had the one yoke.


You could try to find the correct USB port, but it might be easier to simply reprogram it.


BTW - This is a great bit of software to reprogram a second keyboard or numeric keypad.

I used it to program the aircraft's GPS.

A big thumbs up in appreciation to the two of you. Using both suggestions from you 2 gents,I found myself rutinizing my flight stick away. I have a Saitek X52 setup,and on the throttle is a couple thumobwheels I don't use at this. Time.Come to find out that during transporting my computer and sim equipment,I accidently spun the rudder wheel a little off TDC. Again,the good folks of the best sim site on the net come to the rescue.Maybe this Marine should leave the flying to the more attentive.
