AISmooth refuses to stay open

I have AI Smooth set to load automatically when FS9 Starts. Problem is, if it takes too long for FS to start, or if I'm on a dialog window such as the flight planner window or the weather window, AI Smooth closes itself, and since it requires to be started at the same time as FS9 to even be able to work, having to quit and restart FS every 10 minutes simply because of creating and opening flight plans is driving me nuts.
