Postby Garry » Mon May 05, 2014 7:26 pm

Hi Simmers,

Not sure if your aware that the Ford Tri-Motor Project contains not only the Ford Tri-Motor aircraft and texture sets but also many other aircraft and texture sets for the same era. A treasure trove of gems for your flight sim enjoyment.

In the Other Aircraft (http://www.ford-tri-motor.net/other_aircraft.htm) Listings we have the following that have their own page:

(01) deHavilland DH88 - liveries for the Microsoft Default Aircraft

(02) deHavilland DH80a - aircraft and liveries for Milton Shupe's award winning aircraft - floats, wheels and ski models and lots of texture sets

(03) Lockheed Vega5 - over 200 texture sets for the Microsoft Default Aircraft

(04) MAC Flamingo - large range of texture sets available.

And something even more interesting is that we also have a Miscellaneous Aircraft Page - a secret stash of some other outstanding aircraft and texture sets. (http://www.ford-tri-motor.net/Misc-Aircraft.htm)

Contains:

(01) Dragon Rapide deHavilland DH89a - Floats Aircraft with 40 liveries and paint kit

(02) Dragon Rapide deHavilland DH89a - Wheels Aircraft with 43 liveries and paint kit

(03) Vickers Vimy - two liveries for the Microsoft Default aircraft

(04) Junker F13 - Wheels Version with 20 liveries

(05) Boeing Clipper 314 - Floats aircraft and 4 liveries plus a paint kit

(06) Messerschmitt 108 - Aircraft and 3 liveries plus a paint kit

(07) Fleet Freighter 50K - Milton Shupe aircraft - 3 models - Floats, Wheels, Skis, new 2D Panel, 12 liveries and a paint kit

(08) Boeing 221A - Aircraft and 5 liveries

(09) Curtiss Jenny - three liveries for the Microsoft Default Aircraft.

(10) DH89a Wheel and Float models with paint kits only - Plus a small batch of independent texture set for the deHavilland 89a models

There is lots of award winning stuff in the "Other Aircraft" and "Miscellaneous Aircraft" pages that I am sure you will get some great fun out of using - all totally free for your flight sim enjoyment.

Regards

Garry and Edward
your Ford Project Team.

e-Mail Received

Updated aircraft.cfg integrated into the Fleet Floats girl and zip files updated on the Misc Aircraft Page

Thanks Bob and the simviation community - appreciate greatly the feedback and support from you all.

Being a 2 man team pumping out lots of aircraft, scenery and other free stuff for the FS2004 community it is good to have some people out there that take the time to identify and fix and send back tweaks and suggestions every now and again.

Thanks from the Ford Tri-Motor Project Team.
