What would cause my haze to become yellow?

For some reason, my haze is yellow, instead of the gray that it should be. What would cause that? Buggy graphics card? Or did I install a bad sky texture?

Just a thought.... ;) ...!

Are you using the "Bloom" add-on...(with Shift + F12)...?

That can sometimes create strange scenery effects!

If so, switch it off and try again.

Paul....With Bloom on FSX.... ...!

I believe the haze colour can also be dictated by the sky textures.
When I was using the FS Sky World 2004 freeware addon (it's like REX), I choose some cool dusk and dawn sky textures which produced a nice orange-ish color in the evening.

Here is how it looked like:
By day:

By evening (with a redish tint):

Other evening (with yellowish tint):

As you can see, the color of the sun light and the haze/fog was impacted by the new sun color, and all of this was done through the sky textures set I had installed :)

Lol, you were right, it was sky textures. Apparently I installed a bad set, and got yellow "smog" at visibilities below 20 km even at midday as a result. Cheers. :)

I have seen that sky colour in Toronto in the sumer on a hot day with a still wind  Very hard to breath.
Keep smiling
