FSNavigation and FMC troubles

Anyone know how this works. I have FSNavigator. Works great. But I wanted to get to use my FMC as well.I looked on the net to see what I could find.(This will get more clear...). I found a sim page where someone wanted to export their FSNav flight plan to FS9 and pick it up with their FMC. A problem solver replied that you should 'export the flight plan from FSNavigator to FS9,and then import the plan from FS9 into the FMC' . NOW,my problem is this. I looked all over my FSNavigator for the export dialog box and dont see one.What gives? I really want to fool with the FMC,but an 80 page manual and I dont get along,and a shortcut with FSNavigator would be ideal.Anyone know how this is done and where that 'export dialog box' is in FSNavigator? All I see is "Save" , "Open" , and "New" for files. This is my last chance,before I simply remove the FMC from my panel for good,and throw it out of my gauge folder.

I have been using FS Navigator since it was first invented, Stephan, but I have never gone to the complication of using it for Flight Management Computer purposes, so I cant help you there....
I have mostly used it as a" RADAR screen" for solo and Multiplayer flights.

I don't suppose there are many of we FS 2004+FS Navigator enthusiasts/users around now!

I have a couple of payware aircraft that have a working FMC in them and one has the option of uploading any flight plan but the other does not have this option. So I can only assume (and we know what that means) that this option is dependent on what FMC you have. But I like the option of downloading flight plans into my FMC since I down load actual flight plans that are used by commercial aircraft. This allows me to fly the same flight plan that the real world aircraft uses.
One aircraft is a Airbus the other is a B737/700 series aircraft I can not remember which aircraft gives me the option of uploading flight plans.

Thanks for the replies folks. As luck would have it,and my hard headed,die-hard attitude of never really giving up on solving a problem regardless how badly I want to quit,I finally figured it out. Works great now. I also read of a neat little trick I never knew about. When you're in a VC,you can pan around to see outside your windows.This trick allows you to do the same in the 2D window,but the difference is,well,hard to explain.If you try it and like it,cool! If not,you can either delete the added command or simply change the "=1" to "=0" . When in the 2D cockpit you can only look straight ahead.
If you would like to be able to pan the outside view then add 'pan_in_cockpit_mode=1' under [CONTROLS] in your fs9.cfg file.
Just remember to hit the space bar to set the view back to center while flying. I know this works for FS9. Dont know about FSX.

This works in FSX as well. I have a Yoke and throttle kit from Saitek and the yoke has a hat switch on it that allows me to pan without having to edit any cfg file at all.

You can pan smoothly as if turning your head within the cockpit in 2D view with the Saitek hatswitch? I have the AV8R Saitek. If I can do that in FS9,that would be great. Dont see how I could do it tho. The graphics are not set the same between 2D and VC.

With the "hat switch" on my Saitek twist joysticks, I can pan around in my 2D cockpit, but ONLY in 8, fixed, click-able directions, in both FS 2004 and FSX.
(This makes it difficult to accurately observe the position of the runway when turning downwind, base, and final, in 2D mode).
Smooth scrolling in ALL directions, with the hat switch, is only possible in my 3D, Virtual Cockpit.

Thanks Paul. Yeah,I get the same from my hat switch. I have made the command adjustment and it works,but,there are times when I want to simply look quickly left,and cant. I gotta figure out of I can make a switch short cut to switch in and out of the pan mode of 2D.
