squeaking brakes

Postby Longhorn jet » Wed Oct 16, 2013 10:24 am

I have the Lockheed L-749 Constellation from Calclassic with squeaking brakes.
I would like to add this to most of my older large prop aircraft of this type and I do not know how to do this.
Any help would be great.

The good old Connie I actually flew in one when I was in the service and the squeaking brakes could be heard a long way off.
I was in the Hurricane hunters VW4 stationed at NAS JAX can you image flying through a hurricane in one of these aircraft at 500' AGL
The wings looked like a albatross flying. The plane had a huge radar mounted in the belly and what looked like a conning tower on top was a height finding radar
this sound could be coming from two places either the effects folder or the sound file itself. try pasting your aircraft cfg file here and some one should be able to help you
I found this picture

Hi Longhorn,

If you have access to that good ol'fashioned ''Windows Sound Recorder'' like the one in WinXP, You should try like I
did and slow that break squeek down one notch. It sounds pretty cool! If you do, just make a copy of the original file
cause you may not like it. Just an idea. :) Speeding it up one notch sounds good to, You may like that better. :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Can anyone here tell me if there is even a way to munipulate these sound files in Windows-7 ?? ??
