AC 500 Cargo flight plans NOT working

<<q First of all, I would like to thank this forum for their entusiasm, knowledge, patience & guidance in solving my issues: sometimes with a plane Bubu, sometimes with a "Vista Thingy" (configuration problem) of my Lap & most times dealing with my ignorance. I also congratulate "the Lords of the Aero Comander Smuggler Ring", for a magnificent & very enjoyable versions of the AC 500. This is only meant to help me in polishing little tiny details: NOT a COMPLAINT at all! The one I use most (being mexican) is "Smuglers Dream". First, I select a Swift Flight or a Golden Hawaii Flight, then End that Flight; then I select "Smugglers Dream" & start my day! (not a fan of big cities nor international airports: my real life experience has been around aerodromes, skydive zones, small dirt & grass strips lost in the jungle). Jets are not my main prefference eirher. Open cockpits are for me! (weather permiting).

With the AC 500 Cargo version (ac500ca1.zip) comes a Flight Plan folder (AC500Cargo). Unfortunatly, the files inside that folder do not match other flight plans (nor saved flights) inside FS9 guts:

:snooty: The Big Nothing is present here!

 Alles is Gut here!

I notice no FHL files elsewhere :violin: PLN yes, but with companion WX files (at least :violin: ) & sometimes a companion Microsoft Flight Simulator application :violin:
 GRACiAS!

I am NOT lazy:  I have been polishing Aero Comander details (I fly bush or island country a LOT, so my "Smugglers Dream" HAS to perform like a dream). First, I finished painting the nose (I am a fan of mascots in aircraft, automobiles or sailing vessels):
Image

Front view: I am scaning both versions of AC 500 to correct why is my "Smugglers" right landing light covered (but turns on just the same) That has been corrected on second AC 500 version (ac500vc1.zip)
Image

This one baffles me: elevator Trim Tabs motion is REVERSED! "Smugglers" operates normally to joystick controls; but the graphics do the oposite! :o Any ideas on this, Obi Ones? Maybe that can be corrected with a critical aircraft.cfg command, but where? That is the Question, amigos.

View after landing at Puerto escondido with UP elevator trim, down flaps & full cargo. (both versions do this: ac500ca1.zip & ac500vc1.zip)

Well, I guess those flight plans were from FS 2002 or FS 2000 ... (or that smuggling aircraft territory is NOT "for my eyes only") :shifty:

Hi Jean. I've finally got round to investigating this.

1. First, paste the new PLN files into the Documents\Flight Simulator Files folder shown in your shot.
2. Start FS9 & select the aircraft you wish to use from the Create a Flight menu.
3. Click the Flight Planner button.
4. Click the Load button & select the PLN file you wish to load.
5. Select Direct - GPS & click the Find Route button.
6. Click Save & save your flight.
7. Click Load & select the flight you just saved.
8. Click OK to return to the Create a Flight screen. If you see this message click Yes.
Image

The flight should now be loaded.

Hope this works for you.

<<q GRACiAS, oh Horrible ONE! Interesting flights through mountain country, with lots of lakes & rivers for amphibians. Works great with Golden Wings (I know I know, Aero Comander is not from the Golden Age ... most of those places stayed as in the 30's anyway)

:chores-chopwood: How come most of those airports (in Canada) are not in FS list? When I go looking for them creating a flight, many are not present. :naughty:
