So like Fozzer said take it with a grain of salt.
The other thing you just have to love about ATC is by the time they warn you of a approaching aircraft the plane has all ready gone by you. But so far I have never seen a mid air collision with out me going out of my way to cause one so I guess ATC is not all that bad.

Its all too easy to land on the wrong end of the runway...and get told-off by the Tower upon landing!......!
Most runways have two ends (surprise!).......but many times, only one end is active for use in landing and take-off....

Don't be fooled by runways having a glide path indicated on BOTH ends!...
