Hello all!
I just downloaded REP for FS9 and installed it as mentioned in the accompanying read me.
Installation proceeds smoothly until in the end the installscreen appears.
Then suddely everything freezes and the last bit of installation stops.
The only way to escape is via task manager.
I installed it twice: once in Program Files and later again in Program Fils x86, after removing the previous one.
In both cases: no joy.
Does this sound familiar to anyone and if yes: how can this be fixed?
(The scenery looks very impressive and I am looking forward to have it installed.)
Thanks in advance fo your reply.

I think that I read of the same problem somewhere else.

If you're using Windows 7, right click on it and select "Run as administrator".

I'm pretty sure that that was what they had to do to get it to load.

If that doesn't work out see if this may help -
Real Environment Pro Won't Finish Installing

This program might not work with a 64 bit OS
Also I just finished reading a bunch of posts about this program and it seems there are a lot of people with problems using this program one post states that the author could not help him. Now I do not know about anyone else but to me that is a red flag about 10 feet by 10 feet if you catch my drift.
Or to put it in layman language Not worth the trouble downloading it. The term GIGO come to mind garbage in garbage out. <<u

I believe somewhere on this Forum Board is my "RANT", about a lotta these programs NOT working well together and inconjuction with each other, they might say their for FSX or FS2004,, BUT, do they really - work well with other installed flight simulator software that's the key question, and often problems !!!

Frankly, I like decent quality scenery and Aircraft as much as the next Flight Sim Hobbyist, BUT, If I have to spend oddles and gobs of time trying to get a product to work or FIX someones elses product, than its Trash , they should of took the time to develp and TEST it out before before its release !!!

I got into Flight Simming to "FLY" and enjoy some Relaxation, NOT constantly Tinker and or FIX someone elses program that wasn't tested thoroughly before being released !!

Been Simulator Flying now since 2002, and I've seen plenty, programs come and go, the ones that went, theres a reason for that, - that they aren't around anymore !!!

As in one of my Earlier Posts , don't know which one it was,,,

but do "Whisky & Milk" really go good together ?????

meaning, Flight Sim whatever, and some of these supposed programs that are being Churned out there ???

I'll bet theres 40 to 50 products out there for Flight Simulator, and if a user say has 5 to 7 of them installed on a machine, do they all really work really well inconjuction with each other ??? like their supposed to ?? or say their supposed to ?????

Hello guys,
Thank you all for your comments.
At first glance I was under the impression that REP was similar to REX (which I installed already a long tim ago).
After reading your posts I decided to get rid of REP.
